London's Olympics Closing Ceremony was a ball!
What I caught of it anyway. Best one by far and the rest of the world can suck it. Mom made a convincing argument for the 1984 L.A. Games but I was only three at the time so that don't count. Never thought I'd live to see the Spice Girls together again. Was never a fan, but tonight they were fabulous and avoided sounding dated somehow. Go figure. Got mad excited when Freddie Mercury popped on screen, what pure brilliance. If only he'd lived to perform! Can you imagine anything more perfect than 'We Are The Champions' + the Olympics? Come on. Instead we got Jessie J who's talented no doubt (and dresses just like him), but it just weren't the same. Felt gypped. le sigh. Rest in peace Mr. Fahrenheit, rest in peace.
